Celebration lunch at Rosie’s in Miami with friends

As you know, I am relatively new to the hospitality industry so I am humbled by being recognized for my work in Impact and Culture by the Independent Lodging Congress. My journey into the impact and culture space has been incredible. The event and award ceremony was hosted in Miami’s beautiful East Hotel located in downtown Brickell. The 3-day event was full of panels, workshops and moments to network. I was also invited to speak on a panel discussing “Cultural Sustainability”. Overall, I am appreciative and grateful for the award. I would also recommend attending if you are interested in learning more about the independent lodging industry.

I celebrated the award with friends at black-owned Rosie’s MIA for a late lunch. It was important to use all that we found a place to eat and support in Miami that would have an impact. If you are ever in the area, make sure you go check them out. The young couple that owns are beautiful and i believe will help shape the future of F&B and indie lodging.
