Jason C. Bass is an entrepreneur, community-activist and father. His career in entrepreneurship has spanned multiple industries such as textiles, multicultural marketing and venue programming. He was the co-founder of Treason Toting Company and served as its CEO for 5 years. He spent much of this time designing and producing travel accessories that were manufactured in his hometown- Baltimore, MD. During his tenure as CEO, he raised $600k and led a venture partnership with Baltimore-based sports apparel giant, Under Armour. He has won awards in business and community impact. He has also discovered how to do it all as his authentic self; tattooed, bearded, long-haired and charming as hell.

 

He then transitioned out of Treason Toting in 2018 and started The Night Brunch- a pop-up dining event series, co-founded by DJ Impulse.  The objective was simple: break down social and racial silos and bring people together over vibes, feels and meals. During the last year, The Night Brunch team has hosted over 50 events at the top restaurants and hotels in Baltimore, created a 3-day festival and provided 2200 meals to a West Baltimore community through the Night Brunch Summer Lunch program.

 

 As of 2020, Jason launched a boutique marketing firm called Kiss Tomorrow Hello that quickly established a strong client list which to-date has included Visit Baltimore, The Baltimore Orioles, Pernod Ricard, Hotel Revival (Hyatt), Dirty Habit DC and others.  He currently serves as the first-ever Director of Culture and Impact at Revival in Baltimore where he oversees a wide and diverse range of cultural and community-focused programming.

Founded a streetwear brand in response to being laid-off during the 2008 recession. Apparel was sold in over 70+ stores between DTLR and indie retailers nationwide.

Treason Toting Company

Co-founded the American made travel accessories brand in Baltimore city. Raised over $600k in capital and served as CEO for 5 years. Exited.

The Night Brunch

Co-founded the event pop-up series with DJ Impulse in 2018. We’ve since partnered with major brands such as Yelp, Jameson, Martell and Sagamore Spirit. We’ve also hosted a festival and events in New York, Baltimore, and DC. Follow @thenightbrunch.
