Impact Hospitality Panel for Howard University’s Marriott-Sorenson Center for Hospitality Leadership Program

I am always grateful for opportunities to share the stories of Impact Hospitality and help create pathways into the hospitality industry. When Ashli Johnson, Executive Director of the Marriott-Sorenson Center for Hospitality Leadership at Howard University, called and asked if Donte Johnson and I would speak to the School of Business Executive Leadership Honors Program students - we both said yes. Howard University is one of the best HBCU’s in the country and I wish I had the chance to attend as a student. We discussed our individual journeys in the industry, what we’ve achieved over the past 2.5 years at Revival in Baltimore, as well as future plans. During Q&A, the students were incredibly impressive. They all introduced themselves with their names, state/country of origin, honors level, and some other amazing designations. The panel lasted for about an hour with students following up afterwards looking to network. I left the experience confident that the future of the hospitality is great hands.
