Jason C. Bass on Stage at the BSO for NYE???

Yes, I am wearing silver fronts :)

Donte Johnson (GM of Revival) and I were surprised with an opportunity to do the opening remarks as a part of the NYE Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s Fusion concert of Beethoven to Beyoncé. Revival is building an ongoing partnership with the BSO Fusion series, and The Night Brunch was invited to be a part of NYE’s experience as the concert afterparty. I consider it a great honor to be working with the BSO and to be hosting an event in the Meyerhoff. My Grandmother played the flute for the orchestra before I was born. Even with that said, I had no reason to ever envision myself on stage speaking to the audience and performers before a show begins. It’s proof that anything is possible and we don’t know what tomorrow brings. Maybe we should stop saying things like “I’m just a kid from Baltimore”. We should be more proud of ourselves and each other. It begs the question of how many unrecognized, self-limiting thoughts are buried deep in our subconscious? I’ll be dealing with that in 2023. But 2022 ended epically. We sold out the concert with over 2,000 tickets and over 1,000 tickets to the afterparty.
